RDP KeyBoard Shortcuts

Some useful keyboard shortcuts for working with Windows Remote Desktop


  • CTRL ALT END

Equivalent to CTRL ALT DEL

  • ALT PAGE UP

Equivalent to ALT TAB
--

  • ALT PAGE DOWN

Equivalent to SHIFT ALT TAB

  • ALT INSERT

Cycle through the programs in most recently used order

  • CTRL ALT +

Takes a snapshot of the Remote Desktop screen. Equivalent to PrintScrn.
--

  • CTRL ALT –

Takes a snapshot of the active window in the Remote Desktop. Equivalent to ALT PrintScrn
--

  • CTRL ALT BREAK

Toggle full screen on or off.
--

  • ALT HOME

Displays the Start menu. Only works when not in Full Screen mode.
